YOU CAN NOW VIEW THIS PRESENTATION HERE.

There’s not a single dusty bookshelf to be found in this fast-paced illustrated history of Arlington’s libraries brought to us by renowned regional historian and author Richard Duffy.  From the town’s first year as an independent municipality, to keeping connected at a distance during COVID-19, the journeys of our libraries are filled with surprising milestones along colorful pathways.

Richard is a long-term member of the Friends of Robbins Library, and an original member and former Chair of the Arlington Libraries Foundation.  His lecture “Arlington in 1918: A Centennial Look at a Most Remarkable Year,” was a highlight of the 2017-2018 program season for the Friends.
