CONVERSATION WITH THE AHRC – THURSDAY, MARCH 17, 7 PM

On Thursday March 17th at 7:00 pm the Friends of the Robbins Library will host an online “Conversation with the Arlington Human Rights Commission (AHRC)”. Joining the conversation will be outgoing chairs Hina Jolin and Drake Pusey who will discuss what was going on for them in the last couple of years, followed by Rajeev Soneja and Christine Carney, the incoming new chairs of the Commission, to discuss upcoming plans and events. The AHRC focuses on eliminating prejudice, intolerance, bigotry, unlawful discrimination, threats, coercion, and intimidation on the basis of an individual’s race, ethnicity, color, religious views, national origin, sex, gender identity or expression, citizenship, age, ancestry, family/marital status, sexual orientation, disability, source of income, and military status.
