The closing of the Library due to COVID-19 precipitated the cancellation of all remaining Friends’ programs for this season. Not knowing when the Library will be open again for large groups, we will be planning virtual programs for the fall/winter season.
Our Annual General Meeting, usually held in April, had to be postponed. We will be holding a virtual A.G.M. on Tuesday, July 7 at 7 pm via Zoom. Instructions for the Zoom call will be sent to Friends’ members closer to the date. At the meeting members will be asked to vote on the reinstatement of the Friends’ bylaws – suspended when we could not hold the April A.G.M. – and on the slate of officers for the coming year. All Friends of the Robbins Library members currently in good standing are eligible to make nominations and to vote at the A.G.M. Open Officer positions and nominees are as follows:
