For the last of the 2024 Winter Reading Room Concerts, the Friends of the Robbins Library are delighted to welcome the Boston HarpBeat, a high-energy instrumental cover band comprised of harpist Shelley Otis, violinist Cami Sylvia, bassist Richard Gates, and percussionist Fabio Pirozzolo. Some of these names may be familiar to you: Shelley and Fabio provided a fantastic video for us during the pandemic, and Fabio joined the C#s for their Reading Room Concert back in January. The music of HarpBeat spans the gap between classical and rock; they are simultaneously elegant and upbeat, and enjoy pushing the boundaries of their instruments. Their music is a proven crowd-pleaser.
This event will take place on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 3 pm in the Robbins Library Reading Room. It is free and open to all. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
